Building a world-class library and teaching facility in the heart of Sydney’s inner city. The Moore Theological College Library has the largest collection of theological texts in the southern hemisphere and the most important in Australia for the Anglican Church Diocese.
Heinemann’s new Tax & Duty Free retail environment at Sydney’s International Airport is the largest, stand-alone tax and duty free store in the world. It also brings curated, local products to international travellers.
As principle tenant of Barangaroo Tower 2 Westpac’s headquarters occupies 60,000 square metres and accommodates 6,000 people. It set a new benchmark in ABW and one of the largest tenant sites in Australia. This site together with the adjacent Westpac Place supports a potential Westpac workforce of up to 15,000 people.

The historic Chifley at Lennons Hotel was considered an underperforming asset for SilverNeedle Hospitality. With the G20 Summit approaching, SilverNeedle Hospitality saw the perfect opportunity to establish a new brand strategy and relaunch their asset for business travellers.
This was not simply another office for BHP Billiton. As the global headquarters of one of the leading companies in the world, it is the home of the brand of BHP Billiton; the expression of who BHP Billiton are. It is the place the world will look to for evidence of BHP Billiton leadership, and stewardship, on a global and human scale.
Cochlear is one of the most innovative businesses in Australia and sought a building that allowed for flexibility and growth to suit the business’ Production and Research requirements. Geyer was initially appointed to undertake a property strategy to identify how their future accommodation could enable Cochlear to have a competitive advantage in the market. The property strategy led to the selection and development of properties for Cochlear for their new Sydney headquarters located at Macquarie University.
Geyer and Matthews Architects worked in collaboration to deliver the client’s vision for Venn, whilst combining many of the building’s original features with contemporary materials and design features never before seen in Perth.

Geyer Singapore studio opens
Two iconic Australian brands linked by location. The NRMA moving into the vacated Arnott’s biscuit factory required a level of delicate balance of using existing brand memory with a new brand with a long history. Factory conversion to office also had large challenges for the interior design.
Geyer Brisbane studio opens
Re-purposing an old power station for advertising agency aligns two ideas focused companies; Clemenger and Geyer. Geyer lets the history of the building become a major part of the conversion setting the tone for many factory conversions across the 2000's.
Geyer Pty Ltd is incorporated
Established a design presentation and approval process that utilised 3D fly throughs allowed the concepts and design development work to be developed around full scale proto-types which were reviewed and utilised by each focus group
The first project for Geyer in translating a large Australian brand - Ansett - into a total end to end customer experience: From check-in to aircraft interior. First Geyer project developing a high level transformational strategy within a collaborative partnership with Image Design.
Geyer's first NZ project was to provide ground breaking design to one of NZ top law firms. Taking the cue from Bankers Trust, Geyer created solutions that encouraged collaboration and developed team based working environments.
Bankers Trust asked Geyer to undertake their workplace in Sydney with the proviso that Geyer have a local team. Spawned opening of the Sydney Studio in York Street Sydney. The project started a long and valuable relationship with FHA Image Design combining brand and interiors expertise.
The Sydney studio opens
Geyer's first project was the Eastcoast chain of shops. The revolutionary all white design changed retail interior design in Australia and set Geyer on a path to be one of the most influential designers in Australia.
Peter Geyer joins Sandy full time to form Geyer Design Pty Ltd. They work from their kitchen table in Melbourne for several years to build the business.
